Precisely for this reason, we will discuss below which parameters are used when a bus rental with a driver is to be calculated.

The price of a bus trip can be affected by:

1. Availability hours. Most often, a trip is calculated on the basis of the number of hours the bus must be available. Therefore, it is also important to be specific in your enquiry, as you may otherwise end up having to pay for the bus, even if it does not actually need to be available.

2. The number of kilometers. That is, how many kilometers the bus must travel. For example: a. If you have to drive 1000 km - yes, the price is calculated as 1000 x the current mileage rate.

4. Minimum prices. Many bus companies have a policy that they take at least 2-4 hours. Depending on the bus company.

11. Cleaning and possibly extra cleaning.

12. Bus size and standard. A minibus is typically cheaper than a tourist bus, and a budget bus is typically cheaper than a VIP bus. But... the price could easily be cheaper per person in a tourist bus rather than a minibus, as there are more people to share the bill.

13. Number of passengers. The more people to be transported, the better the prices.

14. Number of kilometers for collection. If there is a long trip to the collection point, this can be a factor that is decisive for calculating the price.

It was basically the price-regulating conditions. With the above explanations, you should be better equipped to find exactly the right type of bus and thus find exactly the right price. But let me give you some good advice anyway:

1. Make it clear with your group what requirements you place on the bus. There is a difference between the different standards, and it is always a good idea to avoid disappointment that you have discussed this before choosing a bus.

2. Make sure to fill the bus and find the right bus size. There is no reason to pay extra for a bus with 20 extra seats.

3. Order in good.

4. Always be specific when placing an order. The better we are informed about the route and times, the better the price.

5. Plan the trip according to the driving rest time rules.

6. If it is possible; avoid night and weekend driving as this will affect your price. This will often save you between DKK 500 and 1,000.

7. Avoid dirtying the bus unnecessarily, as the bus companies can often send an additional invoice for extra cleaning.

8. If you arrange a stop at the border shops in Germany, you can actually save money, as the bus companies receive a commission when they bring many guests.
